Our IP Group
So...tell me a little bit about your Inquiry Projects. What kinds of questions do you have? What do you want to find out? I am mostly interested in how assessment can be a means to improving instruction and student performance. Going along with this, I would like to gain more knowledge on what to assess, why assess it, and how. I feel assessment is an integral part of teaching and learning and can truly change the dynamics of the classroom.

Mine is: where does Funding for teachers come from? By this I mean, how do teachers afford to teach? On my website, I have posted some website addresses for scholarships and grants. I am also leaving a page that discusses ways a teacher can use his/her own resources as a way of managing the classroom without spending too much or any money. I think this issue is very important because there is always that fear that we as teachers will be expected to spend a bunch of our own money on our students even though we won't make that much money to begin with. I just wanted to explore the idea that it is possible to be successful and have materials for your classroom without spending half of your paycheck!
